The Tattered Soul
For years I have wanted to create a blog, a podcast, a YouTube channel labeled
"TheTattered Soul" I was told the name had a negative connotation....and yet the name has nagged at me. I wasn't sure what modality/media platform I should explore and whether or not I would be able to bring forth all that was asking to be birthed.
Today the world is at a very different state of being, it is moaning, crying, feeling unsafe, and uncertain. It has left many feeling battered, broken, frazzled, and torn so one could equate that to being 'tattered'. But that is not what the Tattered Soul means to me...it means well-worn and loved like the cover of my favorite book. It means a soul that took a leap of faith and jumped into life head-on. Coming up with its crown a bit crooked but with an impish grin on its face. It's about living all of life, leaving no stone unturned, risking, falling, getting back up, succeeding, trying something new.
It means the soul discovering its true nature, and loving who it is and what it's becoming. Finally, connecting to the core of its being, that feeds it, brings it a sense of belonging, fulfillment, and contentment that can only come from within.
The Self/Soul chose to be here now, this is the best seat in the house to watch as we as individual souls and humanity become a higher version of ourselves. Out of chaos comes order. Out of discontent comes wholeness.
